In August of 2020, during the Covid Pandemic, Chris decided it was time to open his own brokerage, hence Blue Sierra Realty was born. Doing so allowed Chris to bring over 15 years of local Real Estate experience to his client.
If you were to say he had a specialty, it is creative real estate exchange. As a member of the Sierra Real Estate Exchangers, he is continually focusing on the benefits of each client desires, whether that be through residential, commercial or 1031 Exchanges.
In 2021, he brought on a team of licensed agents that expanded Blue Sierra Realty’s services to include property management with a focus on helping professionals relocate to northern Nevada. Combining the team with local connections and ties within the community, Chris offers a truly unique experience to anyone relocating to the Reno area.
Oh, yeah, he also helped develop and build a local vodka company, Tahoe Blue Vodka.

Penny Johnson has honed her real estate and property management expertise through years of helping clients move their assets from California to Nevada. Before entering real estate, she built and sold a thriving medical practice in Southern California. Cameron was born and raised in Northern Nevada and provides keen knowledge of the region and the progress that has shaped the “biggest little city in the world”. His experience in Real Estate stems from personal investments and redevelopment of distressed or abandoned properties in the area. Cameron began acquiring property at the age of 27 consisting of single and multifamily units. His real-world experience as an investor carries over to his clients’ benefit ensuring that the numbers are suitable to their goals for investments in single / multifamily family residence, and commercial purchases.
Furthermore, Cameron has roots as a commercial crab fisherman in the Bering Sea of Alaska, which provides him with the grit to get the job done and the work ethic needed for successful transactions. Apart from Real Estate, Cameron enjoys all aspects of the outdoors that makes Northern Nevada a truly spectacular place to live.

Kim is our dedicated “transaction coordinator” and makes sure our clients are protected by making sure all the rules and requirements of the contracts are followed to the “T”!
After graduating from the University of Nevada Reno, she found that real estate offered her the flexibility needed to be an amazing mom. Now that she is part of the Blue Sierra Realty team, she makes sure all the transactions, and her kids, “stay in line”. You will be working with her in every transaction you do with Blue Sierra Realty.

Dave serves as Maintenance Manager for Blue Sierra Realty, bringing extensive experience in property upkeep, land surveying, and construction management. He oversees daily maintenance operations, coordinates vendor services, and ensures that all properties remain safe, functional, and well-presented for residents and clients.
With a background in surveying and construction, Dave understands buildings from the ground up. He applies that knowledge to preventative maintenance planning, timely repairs, and efficient project management. His focus is on keeping properties running smoothly, minimizing downtime, and supporting the company’s commitment to quality service.
